uttering a prayer of weekends of consecunity
that accepts all our bodies as given
we look eachother in the mouth
nodding in gratitude
being a gift through thick and thin

een gebed van weekenden achtereenheid uitsprekend
dat al onze lichamen accepteert als gegeven
kijken we elkaar in de bek
knikkend in dankbaarheid
een cadeau te zijn door dik en dun

let the hands stream lines, broken, flowing, hesitant, spontaneous
like hair growing
feel all they do
the paper accepts all
good and bad both decay eventually

love combs out the knots
